Meet the Crew 2025 – Lyly (la lycorne)
Lyly, known as la lycorne, discovered the Burn Crew Concept via Facebook and the "burners of Palais de Tokyo" community, just before turning 19. She quickly felt called to join a tribe of street artists, fire performers and passionate souls, united by the joy of sharing and the beauty of the flame.
💡 What does BCC mean to her?
"A tribe of friends, amateurs and professionals from all walks of life, regardless of profession, background, religion or ethnicity. The joy of sharing art and technique always comes first."
🤝 Connection with the crew
Two moments stand out for her: the 19th anniversary of the BCC, and the fire breathing / fire eating workshop at L’Arbre Perché.
"I met amazing people – kind, patient, funny and professional. I’m someone who fears crowds and gets anxious easily. That time allowed me to step out of my comfort zone, surrounded and supported. Thank you."
🏛️ Palais de Tokyo
She hasn’t been to many Palais meetups, but sees them as a space without judgment — just advice and mutual support.
📸 Fire Photography & personal healing
Fire Photography helped her begin a process of reconnecting with her body, after traumatic experiences that left her feeling disconnected.
Thanks to photographers like Yann Delcambre, who “knows how to capture both body and art in light,” she's found a new form of appreciation.
🎯 Artistic projects for 2025?
